Born with a quixotic love for words, I published my first poem by eleven. I have continued writing, mostly poetry, on and off since then. My journey with writing has finally brought me here to this open space which for the most part, was always a personal affair. This platform opens the door to many possibilities, one being a way for my soul to connect with others.

On my quest to find my purpose, I discovered my second love: education. To fulfil that, I made teaching my career, and have been a public-school teacher for the past seven years. Aside from writing, reading, and indulging the desires of my palate, I enjoy the freedom that comes with traveling the world. This unique experience has taught me many things about myself, my surroundings, and the world beyond my home. 

One thing I have learned by traveling is that I am not alone in the journey of self-discovery. Visiting other countries, leaving my comfort zone, and meeting new people, have given me perspective and a special lens through which I see humanity. Using this platform as my canvas, my wish is to impart any knowledge I have gained throughout via writing, or photographs I’ve captured.
